September 29, 2025 - My Favorite Site!

In this day and age, the news tend to have a lot of negative content such as political conflicts, economical crisis, tragic accidents etc. But how come we never hear about good things happening around us? Why do we rarely hear about people trying to change the world for the better, even a little bit? These questinos led me to a site called Positive News, which is exactly what its name implies, just a bunch of positive stories and good things that happened that the normal news outlet usually don't tell us.

From my observation, at least 60% of their news are environment related, such as renewable energy or progress in sustainablity, but they also talk about positive things that happen in ongoing conflict zones as well. And personally, it's a website that inspires me to do better, be concsious in my choices for products, and just be aware of things that are going around the world without feeling hopeless.

You can check out the site here, and maybe subscribe to their newsletter if you like what they have.

October 15, 2025 - Mid Term Video Project

There was this video that I watched about English names for apartments in Japan, so I decided to share my thoughts about it. I did ramble a lot in the video so sorry about that haha. P.S. today is my birthday!

November 10, 2025 - Final Video!!

I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but every time someone asks me to tell an interesting story, my mind just goes blank. Sometimes I do end up finding a story or an incident, but then it ends up being too context or timing heavy that it falls flat when I retell it. The only way I know how to make others laugh is usually when I make a joke out of myself, so here you go, me exposing my embarrassing moments. I do want to apologise for the low quality video. My room is in the middle of rearranging so it doesn't have a table at the moment haha. After notes: The other objects in the video don't really have stories as interesting as the headband one, if anything most of them are just painful to think about.  Like the earpods missing one of them? That's because I accidentally dropped it and walked over, crushing it in the process. I remember feeling so guilty that I never asked my dad to give me anything again. That bag that I travelled 2.5 hours for was a bag I bo...

October 29, 2025 - What is News to You?

A lot of things has happened the last 2 months, but I think one of the notable events are the ceasefire deal that happened in Gaza. For now, the situation is still on edge, but the bombing has finally stopped, and the Palestinians were finalle able to breath for the first time in 2 years. Of course, the humanitarian crisis continues and the situation is still very tragic, but I'm at least glad that the conflict has calmed down, and I hope that it continues to get better and not worse. Palestinians celebrating ceasefire news I think part of this should be given credit to the many people worldwide who stood for the Palestinians the last 2 years, with protests, strikes, boycotts, etc. For example, around 2 million Italians went on a one day general strike in over 100 cities, after Israel illegally detained and tortured activists from all over the world who carried aid in Global Sumud Flotilla. I think we're really witnessing the world changing. Now that innternet and social media...
